Marcatus Netball Club

Hello and welcome to the official website for Marcatus Netball Club.

Marcatus is a lively netball club with members from all age ranges and all abilities.

Marcatus Netball Club have been playing regularly in the Reading District Netball League (RDNL) in both the Midweek and Saturday League since 1988. Over the years we have expanded the club and currently have five teams as follows:

Saturday and Mid Week Leagues

• Marcatus Green
• Marcatus Blue
• Marcatus 7s

Games are played on alternate Wednesdays and Saturdays from September to May at Theale Green School near Reading. We also have regular training sessions and friendlies organised throughout the season which gives evereyone a chance to play lots of netball and hone their skills. Training occurs generally once a month on Wednesdays when league matches are not played at Chiltern Edge School, Sonning Common and on Saturdays at Waitrose Sports and Leisure Centre, Bracknell.

We also enter netball tournaments too by entering a team from the club or combining with other players from other teams playing in the RDNL League. We are also a socialable and friendly club and social events organised in the Reading area throughout the year. Marcatus are expanding and looking for new players to help us build for the future.
